Kill switch for Dual.5 with ACDC converter (KTM Husqvarna GAS GAS) or stock lamp

In 2009, in the European Union a directive came into force ordering the lamp to be turned on immediately after turning on the engine. For this reason, it is not possible to switch off the light on motorcycles bought after 2009.

Frequent extinguishing and ignition of the motorcycle and driving with the fan on on difficult terrain- hard enduro can cause power shortages - through increased consumption through turned on devices - fan, starter, light.

If you want to save the battery, which has only 2 Ah, it is worth to equip yourself with our lamp kill switch. 

Until now, this was not necessarily because your bike had a kickstarter. Now, in the 2T and 4T, the Mattighofen-based company has introduced weight savings (or money savings?). We recommend the possibility of managing the lamp operation, just in case, because it will save valuable battery power.

The switch allows you to completely turn off the Dual.5 lamp when it is not needed.

This kill switch is not needed in the US (and other countries outside the EU) because these bikes are equipped with this function.
