Steering damper mounting with handlebar mountings for KTM/HUSKY/GAS GAS models. This is our original solution. The result of half a year of construction, prototype and testing work. We are the only company on the market to use convergence in two planes to ensure the self-locking of the clamp on the complex shape of the head frame of the 2024 models.

The reversed idea of mounting the handlebar in the 2024 models generated a large number of design problems. The monolithic lower handlebar mount interferes with the steering damper and cannot be used. We had to develop and make lower handlebar mounts with M10 threaded holes. The very limited space under the top shelf makes it impossible to screw it from above. The axis of rotation of the steering damper must be in the axis of rotation of the head tube, which forces the handlebar to be raised from the steering damper mounting plane by 26 mm! It is possible to rotate the mountings 180 degrees, the steering wheel backwards or forwards.

There is no handlebar offset option, and the mounts are pressed into rubber dampers in the shelf. This excludes the possibility of using PHDS mounts in parallel with the steering damper. We will have a solution to this problem in the future.
